Chiropractic and Hip Pain

How Chiropractic Can Help Hip Pain?

Do you have hip pain? If you do, how long have you suffered from that pain?

Here’s where we can make the difference.

After performing a careful physical examination and evaluating your personal history, we work on determining the source of your hip pain. We will create a personalized treatment plan that could include chiropractic adjustments, exercise therapy, possibly some posture advice, some light stretching, and coordination with other health practitioners, and more if necessary.

Our treatments aim to reduce first off your inflammation, then we help you relax any existing muscle spasms, then we help you learn how to strengthen any weakened muscles, and then… improve the mobility of the joints involved.

Depending on the cause, severity, and length of your hip pain, chiropractic adjustments can start to help.

Multiple studies have found that chiropractic adjustments are effective in relieving sciatica, a common cause of pain in the hip and lower back.

In a study for sciatica, 60% of chiropractic patients with severe sciatica had substantially improved symptoms that enabled them to avoid surgery.

Some other case studies have also suggested that chiropractic can relieve pain associated with sacroiliac joint dysfunction and Piriformis Syndrome, which both frequently result in hip pain.

Some patients with hip osteoarthritis (HOA) have also benefited from chiropractic care.

In one study, 83% of  HOA patients improved within just a few visits to their chiropractor.

Natural treatments of hip pain can allow patients to avoid the costs and risks of surgery and drugs. Contact us to learn more about non-invasive relief of hip pain.
